Town Manager-Tryon, population 1,800, 40 minutes southeast of Asheville in Polk County. Council/Manager government, 34 full time employees, $3.7M budget. Manager directs & supervises all departments of town through department heads. Manager serves as finance director. Qualifications: Prefer minimum 4-year BA/BS degree. Must possess strong financial skills & grant writing experience. Minimum 5 yrs. experience in local government administration desired.
