The Tryon Town Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at Town Hall to consider an application presented by the Tryon Historic Preservation Commission regarding the designation of a section of the downtown central business district to a local historic district to conform to the listing of that district on the National Register of Historic Places. Locally designating these parcels will provide for the protection, enhancement, and use of buildings having special historical, cultural or aesthetic interest or value.
